Gase has a pretty interesting track record. I don't think the interest and optimism is entirely unjustified, but I remain skeptical.

I think Gase is great, furthering my point that if Tannehill doesnt progress under him, I could see them looking for a new QB

One thing about Tannehill, he hasnt struck me as a guy on an upward trend, that is getting better every season....Seems like the same in-accurate guy thats prone to mistakes, every season

Yes, although in practice it ended up being collect 10 or so pretty decent players and have 43 players that make you wonder just how they're in the NFL most of the time. The 2012 team for instance didn't lack in probowlers, but the roster was about as deep a dried up puddle. Pioli also believed in Casserole as a QB which was... problematic. Also infamously picked Donald Stephenson over R.Wilson.

Let's just say so long as he is in Atlanta's FO, I don't expect anything good from Atlanta for a while. Speaking of which, I hope the Chiefs beat the living piss out of Atlanta this year.

Yeah, that was great. I remember some Chiefs fans then coming to the Broncos board on the CBS site saying how Pioli was gonna get the "right 53." Good times, indeed.

Sounds like this person and I would be fighting like Cats and Dogs if we were posting back then.

You want to go back and compare Eli Manning's first few years to Tannehill? You really won't like what you see.

Eli Manning won a SB in his 4th season

Tannehill is entering his 5th season, and couldnt be further away from winning a SB, and he's is probably the biggest reason

From what I understand about devout Christians, they don't like to hang out in Vegas getting drunked up and high on cocaine. Although, Johnny could learn a lot from Tebow, were he willing. Like how to live sober or how to make the playoffs with below average mechanics, for instance.
Tebow should mentor him, make it an evangelistic thing.

Might've been ChiefsLakers. Might've been someone else. He's the only Chiefs fan I remember from the CBS days.
There was that SOSUSavage guy, he was pretty delusional. He was actually glad that Manning picked the Broncos and not the Chiefs.

This is a really good point. And 5 years really is enough time to know who a guy is. So if Gase can't get Tannehill going, the Dolphins may indeed be looking for a new qb next year.

Eli was one of the worst QBs in the league for 4 seasons. Don't give me this revisionist history nonsense because he had a couple of great games.

Agreed. Sad to see a young man with what could have been a bright future throw it away because he refused to stop partying. Maybe if a Tebow can get to him quickly enough he can get his head straight, get in the film room, and see if he can make something of an NFL career.

Speaking of quirky posters, what the hell ever happened to MasterAgain? That was a funny dude back when I was lurking on CBS.

Unfortunately, the great MasterAgain never made the transfer over here to the hoop when CBS shut down the boards. However, were he here I assure you he would tell you how much the Chiefs suck, and how a broken clock is only right once a day, duh.

Not revisionist history for me...Eli got a lot of Giants fans frustrated early in his career, but when you play big time football on the big time stage, you show what youre made of

The best record Ryan Tannehill has had as a Fin is 8-8 and really hasnt threatened to be a playoff QB yet

In Eli's first 5 seasons, he had records of 11-5, 10-6 and 12-4

As usual, individual stats dont tell the entire story

He posted here twice right after CBS shut down its boards. Then he disappeared forever. Which is too bad, because he was very entertaining.

There was that SOSUSavage guy, he was pretty delusional. He was actually glad that Manning picked the Broncos and not the Chiefs.

On November 15th, 2015, he was right. On February 7th, 2016, he was very, very wrong.
