The problem I see here is we have no idea if Derek or Fielder will return fully recovered. Remember what was said of Harry and Colby?. I for one am like the Missouri boys. Show me. Better go get that big bat and starting pitching. If Derek and Fielder make it back ok great. No time to gamble if we want to get back in the race next year

Sorry, just catching up. Still great news. He better get used to it. I really don't see us using him next year. He will be a September call up, I'm sure.

Unfortunately I think it may be uglier, with the last stretch of 3-18 I sort of see the rest of the way along that same result. It hopefully won't be 9-45 but I don't see 22 wins the rest of the season, sad to say

My electricity went out for about 30 minutes. I am interested in seeing Klein as he has done great since being called up a few weeks ago. Keep an eye on that guy. 10K's in 5 IP with 0 runs allowed and an ERA of 0.81 at Frisco before that. Smolinski has hit in the 260's but has just 30 ABs at RR. Mendez has been so-so lately. Like we have said our OF depth us weak at the high levels but this was best for Choice.

Yeah, I brought up Klein a few weeks back wondering why we don't give him a shot in our bullpen. Nobody was scoring on him in AA when I said it. Everyone was scoring on our ML bullpen.

No, you're right. I forgot that Martinez was getting starts at the beginning of the year.

Cloudy here where I'm at but I see no cell over Arlington. Doubt I'll see rain here as well in Frisco. Glad Coppell and you are at least getting it.

Last year we finished 91-71 not counting the playoff game, 20 games over 500. We are 38-50 now for win/loss differential of 32 games. Would you all take over or under on 42 game differential? That means 22-32 the remainder of the season. That would be good for us. I know, I am in a bad frame of mind. But only when it comes to the Rangers. Anything else my Psychiatrist will see me through it.

Your math is a bit fuzzy... There are 74 games remaining. (not 54)

Which would be 32-42. Or 70-92.

I'm pulling for 81-81. Which would mean 43-31 the rest of the way. Its not entirely out of the question....
