Our beloved Rangers continue on their quest for a Top 3 Draft Pick next year. They are currently at slot #3, just mere % points behind BAL for #2. They are the only AL team with 70 losses. A sweep by OAK would help them on their quest, and also put pressure on the Asterisks. I don't like rooting for Rangers losses, but there is a positive spin to them. Former Rangers greats Mitch Moreland and Elvis Andrus seem likely to make some appearances for the A's.

The globe chunkers for this series are Folty, :noidea:, and Lyles, so getting swept is certainly a possibility. No Dunning this series, and I imagine tomorrow will be a bullpen game. Not that it really matters much. A bunch of new guys are in the lineup these days, so we'll continue to see what we have (or not) with them. Afternoon games Saturday and Sunday.

No problem here seeing them lose, regretfully. Keeping a close eye on Baltimore and Arizona. The Diamondbacks have some spunk. Gave the Giants a fight. Gonna be hard to catch them tho.

hey, Folty leads the league in ERA and HRs allowed. That’s good right?

Overall a great night for our minor league starting pitchers. Alexy struggled some and gave up 3 runs in 4.1 inning, but struck out 7. Winn's line was phenomenal. Englert and Weems had great lines as well.

are they really performing fantastically, or is it just that we're hearing only the good stuff

Offense really struggling tonight so far
We have 52 games left. How many of those do you think you will be able to repeat your statement in? What would the over/under be? Maybe 38?

Winn has done great all year. Weems has had an odd season in that he has given up 3 HR in 2 different games and none in the rest of them. Alexy has been good enough to get promoted to AAA.
