Garcia has been a big part of the offensive problems this month.

Been gone for a little while so this has probably been asked before, but is anyone concerned that Lowe is on pace for 5-6 home runs this season?

Othani needs to get the Barry Bonds treatment the rest of the series. Don’t give him anything to hit. Let somebody else beat you.

It’s a struggle to get thru those first five in the Dodger lineup.

I'm expecting a 1-5 road trip. And then a 2-5 road trip at end of June ( Milw and Balt). So likely 10 games under .500 by July 1 and time to be sellers.

Again...I'm not losing any sleep over this season and am already looking forward to 25. Hopefully we can unload Scherzer, Garcia, Lowe, and or Tavares for some prospects, get Carters back fixed even if it means missing the rest of the season, and get deGrom around 6 starts to set him up for next season.

I wanted to be competitive this year. But too many injuries, championship hangover, and for some reason the offense is absurdly awful no matter what lineup is out there.
It's hard to watch but they are my team and flags fly forever.
Hard to write off season before ASB. But yeah the bats need to get better

The entire board is likely concerned.
He is not your prototype 1B. Despite clubhouse presence his swings are slaps at the ball
Does not impress me

1. Exciting finish that I dozed off on Leody did have a good defensive day and finally got a hit.

good relief work especially DRob and LeClerc was unscathed

FYI MLb has Ohtani HR yesterday pinned on their Twitter site lol. Maybe change it to the Leody to Marcus relay throw that gunned Pages down at the plate.
Carry on

From Evan Grant:

Ultimately, it was another important box checked for Josh Jung.

But it wasn’t without a scary moment.

Jung, recovering from surgery to repair a fractured right wrist, faced rehabbing right-hander Tyler Mahle in his first round of “live” batting practice since the surgery. During the approximately 30-pitch session, Jung was hit on his left wrist, though it was only a glancing blow. The round continued and afterward the Rangers pronounced Jung fit to go to Triple-A Round Rock.

He will take more live batting practice there, facing rehabbing reliever Josh Sborz on Thursday. It isn’t certain when he will actually be assigned to the Round Rock roster to officially begin a rehab assignment.

Once the rehab assignment commences, Jung is expected to take about 30 game at-bats before the Rangers make a determination on potentially activating him from the injured list.

Meanwhile, it will be Sborz’s first batting practice session since he went on the IL with a right rotator cuff strain nearly five weeks ago. If Sborz comes through that session well, it’s possible he could begin a rehab assignment in short order. Manager Bruce Bochy said the Rangers would like to see Sborz make several outings before returning to the active roster.

Mahle, recovering from elbow surgery, faced hitters for the second time. He will now take a scheduled week off before returning to face hitters again. He is expected to have two more live batting practice sessions before the Rangers determine if he is ready to begin a rehab assignment.

The news was not all positive on the rehab and recovery front. Infielder Justin Foscue, who began a rehab assignment on June 5 after missing two months with a significant strain of an oblique muscle, has suffered a mild setback. Foscue felt some soreness in the oblique and the Rangers have given him five days off. He is scheduled to resume swinging on Thursday. Foscue was 4 for 11 in three rehab games in the Arizona Rookie League before the soreness arose.
