What I mean is, the Rangers had players basically every contender could have used. They didn't need to throw in any prospects. You can make the argument the return they were getting for Gibson/Kennedy was already on the light side. Tossing in their own #9? Absurd.

oof…… not only did we bring in a damaged goods Prince Fielder, but it also got rid of Kinsler at 2nd base and paved the way for ODOR to become the front offices favorite player for about 5-6 years.

he was a perfect fit for this team at the time and our old ball park. The front office screwed up by not discovering the past tense or the “was” part of it.
