Not to me. We need quality over quantity at this point.

We simply helped the Yankees out of a 40 man quandary and put ourself into one and didn't pick up one guy who can be a star in the league.

Gallo could have been had they went for quality over quantity. Those SD prospects that we were discussing earlier have that potential.

Sure, we can say it is a bad trade. It might work out differently, but based on organizational philosophy as shown by the trade, I think it is bad. Others may have a different philosophy than I do and see it differently, and that is fine.

I really dislike the quantity over quality approach. I really dislike the "let's accumulate as many middle infielders as we can" approach. Therefore, I really dislike the trade.

We can look back on it in 5 years in hindsight, but at that point those who don't like it will be said to be guilty of using hindsight.

I stated all along what I was looking for, so it would really look silly for me, in particular, to say anything about it other than what I have said the last couple of hours.

Well, with Fangraphs it did. They have always had the most unusual rankings for us compared to other services for some reason.

All the players coming here are in A ball and their expected upside is to be solid role players. The chance of them being valuable players is slim.
