Lowe's career numbers:

.263/.342/.425/.767

He is what he has been. He has had about 165 more plate appearances than Willie Calhoun. Just mentioning Willie because most thought he had had plenty of time to show who he is. One difference between the two is that most of Lowe's numbers were put up while playing on a regular basis.

If Lowe was in the middle of putting up a much better campaign than last year, I would be convinced that he could be trending upward. That isn't the case though.

Well. I think he is a good middle of the road hitter and a below average defense but I think we can do better….. Especially this point in the rebuild. Read a Newberg article and although I like Garcia he is not getting any younger.
I would keep an eyeball out for him but Lowe is another story. If we move him I am just fine with that

i think we need to make sure that we have a quality replacement before we move on from Lowe

Huff or maybe Jung if Duran works out at 3B. Or maybe Harris.

We have a guy like Foscue too.

Haven’t taken the time but would have to analyze other teams. He has some value but to me he is not a WS 1B
