Grossman is hitting .100 in September, and the only possible advantage to having him in the game was eliminated once the Rays put a lefty in the game. Grossman is useless at that point. And yet our manager doesn’t see the point of having a right-handed hitter, and a much better one at that, come in the game with a runner in scoring position.
