No.... if Cruz doesnt appeal...the end of the 50 game suspension would be in late September.

Not a chance. It also helps that Cruz isn't a douche like Braun and ARod and the way I see it is he served his suspension, did his punishment and now he's free to come play again under the rules MLB has in place.

I've always liked Cruz and would not mind seeing him extended for a few more years and he could become a DH here.

He was never caught with a Drug test before. So he could be still using , with a masking agent, Or ?

I believe in second chances. If someone is caught, admits it, and serves his suspension, I will welcome him back. Braun not only didn't admit anything on his first offense, he harmed the reputation of the specimen collector, and gave that defiant speech when he won that appeal (knowing all along he cheated).

I think if you read what I said there was the words "I would guess". So I don't know that for a fact but would be surprised if he was still messing with in light of what is getting ready to happen.

If I had a choice, Encarnacion in a second. both are signed thru 2015 but Edwin is half the price plus I think he'll be more productive going forward

I've seen McCann, Baustista, Encarnacion, Dunn, Pence & Stanton all mentioned so far today

Reality is... wont get any of them.

Although, the mention about the Rangers offering up 4 players (which made the Marlins consider it and talk to Loria)...is a good sign.
