There are some guys who slump a lot and this year it's been Murphy. That said they aren't the sole reason this team is not hitting the ball. JD and clan haven't done the best job to take care of the offense other than a couple of bandaids like Berkman who should hang it up this weekend and AJP who ended being a good and somewhat surprising replacement for Nap.

JD didn't have a lot to work with this off season. Hopefully he can make in improvement now.

I heard on the ticket this morning that Ken Rosenthal had it on good authority that the Rangers call Miami every week about Stanton and they immediately say no. They'll really have to prospect whip and blow Miami away with a package but Stanton is the one guy on their team with star power that they can still sell and still under control another 3 years or so. So I think Miami is legit when they say they aren't interested in getting rid of Stanton anytime soon.

Well They'll trade Stanton before he reaches FA for sure but the line will be formed to the left. Teams will be willing to give up a lot to get him. The have the worst owner in sports. That's the same SOB that got the Expos out of MTL which should have never happened. I am hoping Montreal gets MLB again.

2009 was a hammy I believe, good numbers but only 135 games, 2010 might have been the pinkie but he was having issues other than that
