Swept by the Padres. Now lost 6 of 8. But sure, let's pretend we are WS contenders this year and trade more prospects away for over the hill has been pitchers and another starter that is 6-9 and trending down. Makes sense.

We have the 11th best record in the AL since June 7. DeGrom day. Why CY? Why? What would it hurt to keep your powder dry? Plan for a prosperous future.

Injuries, poor performance, bad bullpen management all happening now.

The Rangers have no chance to win a ring this season.

This is not hard to see.

Jung just has no idea….he’s walking up and hacking at pitches just expecting something in the zone and he gets behind 0-2 all the time and has very little chance. He’s gonna be a good hitter but he’s not seeing the ball

They still have 9 of their top 10 prospects. Jordan Montgomery is not “trending down”. He has a losing record because he pitches for a losing team. Scherzer is better than any pitcher on our team not named Eovaldi. Calling him a “has been” because of one sub-par half season is the height of stupidity.

Also, didn’t you say the Rangers had “no chance” to win against the Astros? Take your relentless negativity elsewhere, Miss Cleo.

We just got finished playing the Rays, Dodgers, Astros, and Padres (facing their 3 aces), all while missing our best hitter and best pitcher, not to mention multiple games from Heim and Garcia. Better days lie ahead.

Seager will be back eventually. So will Eovaldi. We just got 2 improvements to our rotation who have yet to pitch. And our next 6 opponents are the White Sox, Marlins, A’s, Giants, Angels, and Brewers. 2 bottom feeders and 4 middling teams. Not a WS contender among them. These next 3 weeks should be good for the team.

Relentless negativity? I'm simply saying trust the plan. We aren't supposed to be a WS contender this year. And we clearly are not. Seager out. Heim and Eovaldi very possibly both done for the season. Perez and Heaney bad. Gray has lost his stuff since Leon left. Jung, Huff, and Duran not ready yet. DeGrom out until next August.

Why not be patient? Retain your prospects. Window really opens up next year. Especially if Leiter ever gets properly developed.

Astros did it. Orioles did it. Dbacks are doing it. It can be done.

Have we gotten away from it? Scherzer will be here next year good Chance Montgomery will be resigned we lose Perez and probably Heaney so our starting rotation should be better with Eovaldi, Scherzer, Montgomery, Dunning & Gray and maybe deGrom.

And the losses have been minor for what we’ve added

Yes, relentless negativity. You don’t just point out what’s going wrong. You go way overboard and say things that are patently untrue. Saying the Rangers had no chance to win a game in Houston was overly negative and false. Saying they have no chance at all to win the WS is false. They might not be favorites, but this is baseball. Anything can happen, especially once you get into the playoffs. All you do is point out our shortcomings, but you pretend like other teams don’t have just as many. The Braves are the only team with no real weaknesses. The Rays have a worse record than the Rangers over their last 50. The Astros still haven’t caught us and need pitching. The Angels just lost Taylor Ward, are missing Trout, and still need pitching and hitting. The Twins are a joke. The Orioles have a subpar starting rotation. Show me ONE team in the AL who doesn’t have weaknesses. The Yankees? The Red Sox? The Blue Jays? Hahaha. Please.

Then you say CY is mortgaging our future, which also isn’t true. He has only traded ONE impact prospect. Still have Carter. Still have White. Still have Walcott. Still have Ortiz. Still have Langford. Still have Leiter. Still have Rocker. Still have Porter. Powder is plenty dry.

You can point out shortcomings and have doubts without giving up on the season.

Do they have a chance? Sure they do is it a sure fire chance? No but these additions can only make us better
