This team seems to have given up without Seager and Heim.

The Rangers have had six pitchers start games in June and July. They have also acquired 2 starting pitchers. Here are the ERAs of those eight pitchers for the months of June and July combined. The isolated July numbers are in parenthesis.

2.37 (3.10)
3.10 (1.96)
3.60 (3.48)
4.27 (5.06)
4.30 (4.35)
4.62 (5.48)
5.63 (5.40)
5.70 (8.50)

There seems to be a definite top 5 that should make up our rotation going forward.

This umpire should be officiating high school volleyball games.

This team can’t hit a change up to save their lives today

Hearn has already been traded. He goes to the Royals.

Probably be a few more zip codes for him before he’s finished his career. Maybe he will improve enough to stick somewhere eventually

Why is Burke back out when everyone is supposed to be available and they are off tomorrow….?

Won’t be long before someone in the Rangers dugout gets tossed. You can hear them yelling at the ump. And his calls are one-sided all in favor of the Padres

Do you have anyone you would put out there? Other than Burke, Chapman & Smith I dread seeing any of them

The more I look at Stratton he has to have been just a throw in swapping him and King…which means the Rangers gave up quite a bit for Montgomery. I sure hope they plan to add some more relief pitchers and not just trust Perez and Heaney will help the bullpen

Was at the game last night. Seager took infield about 90 minutes before the game but never threw the baseball to 1st
I think he's still several days away.

Team seemed out of it. Just going through the motions. Similar to today.

One interesting note: Chapman was signing some autographs for kids. I happened to be standing there with my son. He looks like an NFL tight end. Never seen a pitcher built like that.
