We blow a bases loaded No out situation. And then gonzo sucks again this year. Easily our worst starting pitcher this year…

This is what you get when you have three guys in the lineup batting under .191

surely there is a replacement for Dillon Moore… He’s a utility player, not a starter

Well, I didn't get kicked out but some passive aggressive fag definitely tried.

I always talk when I go to a game. I played for over 15 years so I know how the game is played.

We sat about 20 rows back a little passed 1B. They definitely weren't ready for full capacity, so food lines were very long.

Got back to our seats around the 6th and got to talking to the Rangers, as much as someone can from mid right field. The guy from behind us had a great time talking, he even worked at Sick's Stadium way back in the day.

Anyway, sometime before we tied the game in the 9th, some 18 or 19 year old kid in front of me turned around and was like "you've been yelling for 2 innings, can you stop?!" I smiled, paused til the next pitch then upped the ante.

Dude, who the fuck asks a home town fan to stop cheering for their team?! No, I wasn't being one of those over the top, obnoxious people.

So Kyle heads up the steps while we take the lead, his girlfriend staying behind. An old security guard comes down and moves them down lower. I talked to him and told him I was simply rooting for the home team, no swearing or anything.

So we end up going ahead and before the fireworks, I see his green hat a few rows down and the section over. I hand my phone and wallet over to my friend and wall down the aisle behind this kid. Standing and clapping, then he turns around and notices me, puffing his chest out like a big guy.

Ok, I definitely antagonized him, but he deserved to show what a bitch he really was to his girlfriend.

Moral of the story, don't be a little bitch at a home game. No one has to be quiet because you're a passive aggressive weiner.
Imagine going to a baseball game and actually rooting for the home team! The nerve!!!

These people wouldn't last at Yankees Stadium. Might as well just fire up that soccer mom van.

Seriously. I'm actually a little surprised the security guy didn't take his side with how G-rated the team tends to be.

I hope he's still mad that fans had fun around him.

There was a few months back in the offseason except the billionaire pulled back the purse strings. Wong or Semien would have been great. La Stella has struggled but better option than Moore.

Whit Merrifield at age 32 is the best guy on a non-contending team.
Ryan McMahon at 27 makes a lot of sense.

Vidal Brujan TB 23 y/o at AAA. Maybe a Sheffield deal can be made for him???? I don't know enough about his value, but TB has been slipping in the standings of late and they are always looking for cheap pitching. Hell, I would give them Marco in a deal.

ooooohhh..shot down....
2021 USA BASEBALL COLLEGIATE NATIONAL TEAM PREVIEW

OF DYLAN BEAVERS, CALIFORNIA (2022)

Before you ask, no, he’s not a beaver. Or at least that’s what Cal’s website says.

Jokes aside, Beavers had an impressive year in the Pac-12, propelling himself into one of the better outfielders in the 2022 class. He finished the year slashing .303/.401/.630 and was tied with the most home runs in the Pac-12 with 18. He was one of only two Pac-12 players with double-digit home runs and stolen bases in 2021, as well. He’s got plenty of pull-side power and showcased good plate discipline with a 53:32 K:BB ratio and manned both center and right field. Alongside Josh White, they are the first Cal teammates to play on the National Team since Xavier Nady and Mike Tonis did so in 1999.

and my ss,,,aaajhhhh

INF BROOKS LEE, CAL POLY (2022)

Lee got to Cal Poly and has added plenty of muscle to his frame, now coming in at 6’2”, 205 pounds. He was one of the better known prep shortstops in 2019 and has proven his worth after a solid 2021 campaign where he slashed .342/.384/.626 with ten home runs and 27 doubles. He’s a switch hitter who looks better on the left side than the right with natural loft in his swing and a direct path to the ball. He’s shown soft hands and good instincts at shortstop, as well. He likely ends up as a first round player in 2022.

yeah..it may be worth it if the mariners are ready to move on....and tampa does a bit diff than seattle so..shefield would still fit in well there though
but that would prob mean..marco...was doing well..prob is dugger is the only replacement in sight..for a 6 man rotation...that is down to 5 guys right now

i value brujan higher than...wander franco.( #1 prospect in baseball).but it just depends ..on who ya ask

We might be in the home stretch for the 2021 draft class, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start diving into the succeeding draft classes. While the draft moved from June to July, USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team stayed put, though they won’t have an international opponent like in years past. Instead, they will be touring the Appalachian League, which is part of USA Baseball’s Prospect Development Pipeline in connection with Major League Baseball. The 45-man roster will be split into two separate teams and play in eleven intrasquad games at each Appalachian League stadium, with the tour starting July 2nd and running through July 15th.

There’s plenty of big names from both the 2022 and 2023 draft classes on this roster that have grabbed our draft crew’s attention this past spring. It’s a loaded roster, with plenty of potential first rounders from both drafts repping the red, white, and blue. We’d be doing the public a disservice by not diving into this team, so let’s get started, shall we?

I'm just here to admit that I have been wrong on J.P Crawford being nothing more than an elite defensive player who offers below average production at the plate and that the Mariners should start looking for a better SS.

That is all. Not even mad I've been wrong on this one.

What's the deal with Marco Gonzales this year?

I've watched maybe 50% or so of all the innings that the Mariners have played this year, but somehow have missed most of his starts. Anyone have any insight on this?

I guess I was always more surprised when he had success than when he has failed with his stuff. As for your question, no clue. Maybe someone smarter than me on here can answer that. I will be interested in the answer.

cant pitch worth beans...this year...but he is still a good pitcher..

guys have there probs...sometimes..in mlb...my dad would point out...that some players have a few good years..a few bad ones..then come back for some more good ones...and i have noticed..over time..with some players...it is true...some just go bad..and never come back from it...i have seen enough of that..as well

the league..caught up..with marco..now he ..has work to do to get ahead..again..
