I think what happened with Altuve is that they were wanting Dyson to do something that really goes against his strengths. He throws a hard sinker and they were wanting him to go up and in. But felt he had the stuff to still get out of it.

Here I am with my obligatory "would have an 8 game winning streak if not for Bannister's poor bullpen management" post. But to be honest the Rangers have finally played some good baseball at home and hopefully keep things going with Hamels in Seattle on Friday.

For me, I'm just going to enjoy beating one of the best teams in baseball 2 of 3, and then sweeping the team leading our division.

Sorry to get sidetracked but I am so impressed with this guy who you never hear much about. He has a slash line of .339/.453/.580 with 24 doubles and 22 HRs and 78 RBIs. Most of us know who he is. He is Paul Goldschmidt. And he does not really have the guys around him to help protect him.
