Kelleyman
Former WS Champs. Hope this updates in 2025
If Leclerc got his stuff back to where it was we would have at least 3 winning pieces to close out a game with Martin and Kelley
If we could ever get the Odor back who hit 33 HRs and a .271 average this would boost this offense tremendously. Just not sure it can happen but was not sure if Gallo would ever get it going.
Actually he has been on a lot of certain players "sucks train".![]()
Pitchers have adjusted to Odor and Gallo shortened his stride and has gained more pitch recognition.
That being said— a serviceable Odor is the likely difference maker on whether we sneak into the playoffs or not
The second homerun was on a 109 mph fastball. He's been late on fastballs all year. He was right on that one. If a player is doing poorly, I will get on to him. If he does good, I'm going to give him credit. No matter who he is.I hate to be cynical, but when Odor does well, you can usually look at the pitchers he hits off of and those pitchers usually suck.
If he has success against the Twinkies or Astros, then it’s worth thinking about maybe he’s getting going.
Ha Ha. I am waiting to see how Crawler responds to you. That's two-in-a-row from me in the 'like column."..............That may be a first, since I consider myself a tough-crowd.

Correct, but it was 100 mph fastball though.109 Exit velocity is what you meant methinks
Still him hitting a FB has been a rarity this year
How many other guys tonight had HRs? That logic is nonsense. And to top it off Garcia had given up just 1 run in his last 7 appearances and has been scored upon just 8 times in 33 appearances and Canning gave up just 3 hits and 1 run the 1st time he faced us. So these guys were not chopped liver.I hate to be cynical, but when Odor does well, you can usually look at the pitchers he hits off of and those pitchers usually suck.

That is the thing that has driven me crazy about Odor. He is able to work the count deep in many ABs but when it has been there for the taking he just hasn't put good wood on it or misses it. The fastball HR tonight reminded me of the good Odor. So I would hope he gets out of this funk but if I was a betting man I would not take the bet that he will.Thanks... big time swing.
Listened to Woodward interview and he referenced team approach in being disciplined and making other pitchers pay when in the zone. Getting walks and setting the table is huge
Top of Crawlers list for certain.Looks like Roogie is good for the rest of the season.
You should really follow Roogies Twitter account.I hate to be cynical, but when Odor does well, you can usually look at the pitchers he hits off of and those pitchers usually suck.

I do remember as i felt like the guy was going to duplicate in the Majors sooner or later. I may be wrong on the but I was thinking that changing to an open stance helped him quite a bit. It allowed him to see the pitch better.Joey had been successful at every other stop in the Minors it just took him awhile to figure each one out. Sometimes it takes players awhile to "get it", look how long it took Nelson Cruz.
