People are overhyping it like he’s the next great hitter or something.

It’s sickening how much slack he gets and how one great game by odor seems to wipe out 10 or 15 bad ones in a row in the eyes of the front office. Will they really subject us to this garbage player until 2023 or beyond?

Many team broadcasters and media personnel want to keep their jobs or their ability to get up close and personal so they are going to give a positive corporate speak. And that is not just baseball. So you will hear idiotic things like when a guy has been in a slump and he finally gets a base hit they say something to the fact that he just broke out of his slump and I will be sitting there thinking how ridiculous of a statement is that. And we have a bunch of homers in all facets of TV announcing with the Rangers.
