That is exactly why I do not want to trade Lynn unless of course we get back his worth. Pitchers like Lynn are not that available.

A Cy Young candidate is worth more than what you suggested and why would you take the first offer on the table and that is not punishing anyone. If they want the best they can do better.

He has a grand total of 18 games played professionally. He is their 5th best prospect though. It would definitely depend on the other guys.

I have to agree. He is one of the top pitchers in MLB right now. And don't just need a 1st baseman but future pitching prospects. Not sure how our current ones will pan out but more don't than do of course. I am not against trading him but not just for offense.
I would trade him for offense if it was someone AA or above that has been a great hitter at every level. Very few guys would fit into that kind of category though.

I think we kind of expected this is the way it would be. Minor pitching better would have helped some. So play young guys. No Choo, Frazier, Mathis (except once in a while since Chirinos is out) and Andrus being out helps some as well.
