Mariners come into this series having been swept by the Yankees and on a 3 game losing streak. The Rangers are 32-34 on the year, and the Mariners are 34-32 on the year.

Nick Martinez gave up 8 runs in 2 innnings his last start.

Why do I have a feeling that Felix is going to continue pitching a shutout and he will still manage to get a ND?

Mariners are currently making Nick Tepesch look like Cliff Lee. He has only given up 1 hit in 4 innings.

New series same results so far. 1 hit through 4 and the starter has less then 40 pitches. Pretty typical Felix game.

Tepesch has given up 8 runs in 7.1 innings his last 2 starts. He is not good, so incredibly frustrating.

Oh and our DH somehow struck out swinging on a hanging breaking ball that was center cut.

Felix goes into the 8th with 17 consecutive scoreless innings.

I really don't like McClendon. Montero is clearly his best PH option but because the pitcher is RH he sits for Endy Chavez.
