I was not in a place to post anything so I am catching up but I agree with many of you in I did not understand why Garver did not PH when they brought the RH pitcher into the game. That is a head scratcher for sure. Really do disagree with Bochy on that.
I am glad that Bochy did stop using Chapman as closer and went to him as a setup man instead and has stuck with Leclerc as closer. He really has his hands tied with what he has available to him and there is a good chance we are going to be ticked off no matter who he puts in there. I think he chose Smith and Chapman just because they have been doing this for a while even though not always well. the pressure really mounts towards the end of those playoff games.

Exactly. I would make him offer but I wouldn't go overboard. I might regret that but relievers are quirky. Many can be lights out for a year or two and then turn into garbage.
