Bills win 27-7 if Lamar doesn't do what Lamar does.
;)
Bills plan was to shut Henry down. Good coaches adapt.

Let's eliminate all of the passing plays. I would have loved that. Ravens wouldn't have been 7-10 on 3rd downs.
Well Lamar did what he does, fer sure.. and that's not win big games because he's just not that great at doing the things that need to be done to do so. Which is what I THOUGHT was the reason they got Henry- so they wouldn't need to rely on that. Yet when it mattered most, they turned to the guy keeps losing those games.. just don't get it.

I do think it's worth mentioning, Henry was being taken seriously as an MVP candidate early in a well. Right about the time those whispers started turning into more of a rumble, shockingly, Henry had back to back games of 16 or less touches, and he simply disappeared from the discussion. If I wore a tin foil hat, I'd be thinking something was up....

I have been critical of Lamar on this board - labeling him as selfish. (And i dont know why we see so many Ravens games here in Chicago?), but i will say, i saw marked improvement in his "team" play this year. Saw a QB leaning (and trusting) more in his teammates than playing "hero ball."

Ditto, although there were relapses.

I echo and second what WW said.

Marked improvement, yet, relapses- which generally occurred, when he was needed most

Limit your mistakes and capitalize on your opponents mistakes, Bills used the oldest formula in the books to win in 2025. love to see it

This could also be the theme of the Kansas City Chiefs for the last three years.

Maybe the difference in play this year was that King Henry threatened Lamar to give him the rock or else?

Guess LaFleur and Vrabel weren't scared of those threats when they kept giving all those touches to Dion Lewis

I'd say Vrabel learned his lesson. Let Dion (and Lafluer, and Arthur Smith) walk and won 2 straight division titles

Smith unlocked Henry more than anyone else on that staff. Or at least ran out of other options and was forced to feed him lol

Lamar is awesome, imo. I'm glad he held himself to six carries.
Though not having watched much Jim Brown film, Henry seems to be the modern day class if his own runner. He's the best RB I've ever watched. All due respect to Barry, and whoever else anyone wants to include.

Bills got lucky with weather and a non amazing effort by the Ravens. Never losing at home this year was another factor.

So let's put the past to bed. We are ALL Bills fans now!! (outside @Clayton , nobody wants a 3peat).

Josh needs the game of his life this week.
I'm sure the Chiefs saved their appetite for a 40 burger.

Gonna go out on a limb and say I was less than enthusiastic about his lack of rushing in the 2nd half when he ended with 39 rushing yards for the night.

This has a 24-20 type of vibe to it more than a 40 burger. Chiefs are going to play safe because the Bills large advantage is turnover margin.

What makes the game so great is that 95% of the country is probably rooting against the Chiefs.

Imo, Chiefs and Commanders won a lot of crazy close games this year. If I was unbiased I'd be picking the Bills and Eagles. Still, I think Josh Allen does have to look like an MVP to get to the Super Bowl. Spags will likely trust KCs secondary one on one and Allen will have opportunity.
