Change is hard as we get older. Now that I have played with it a little, I am getting used to it. But my first impression was like you- "why the change?"
Yeah change is hard. One thing I discovered is if your looking at your roster in a league and then click on the left on a different league you get your roster without having to click and you can quickly check all your rosters with a minimum of clicks.

That'll be nice on Sunday mornings when inactive are announced

A good example (for me) is Ronald Jones.
Ranked as high as 27th in 2019, then better at 15th in 2020.
Suddenly dips to 58th in 2021.
KC signs him in 2022 and he is probably the biggest waiver add since it is an ideal landing spot for for RB-needy team.
RoJo is atrocious and ranks 100 among RB.

The dude is only 25.

And currently my RB2 in D2
:L

2023 will be the most frustrating season for redraft fantasy owners.

Was looking at FantasyPros consensus rankings.... considering the highs and lows, according to the possibilities of the individual experts, there are 25 different players that can be (or should be) drafted in the first round alone.

25

Dont believe i've seen that kind of disparity over the last several seasons. Not for first round rankings.

Well damn. I lost my access to Bronco tickets this year. I have been going on these seats for 20 years. Great seats but I did not own the rights. My guy got old, transferred the tix to the next generation. They need my seats for the grandkids.
Guess I'll be watching from the couch like everybody else.

That'll all sure up as the season gets closer as everyone reads the same 4 national fantasy blurbs about everyone.

But I do like the parity because it gives me an advantage. Others draft who others like. I draft whom I like.

depends on the league... you know in MBBRL we are running back crazy in a RB world... so even if the consensus says some should be picked in the second round, we will move them up a bit... and should...

but the opposite is true in many PPR leagues, especially 3 WR(without including FLEX) leagues...

the thing about ADP lists is that many experts dont separate PPR, non PPR or 1/2PPR... many just create one list... also the default for most experts is ppr...

I suppose. But even in a crazy RB-focused league, it stands to reason that a lot of the same RB would be drafted in the first round, but in a different order.

The fact that there 25 different first rounders seems like a lot.

What crazy asshole took Stevenson at #3?? And here I thought I was his biggest supporter. No way I touch him before 2nd/3rd

Some experts partaking in that compilation may need to be reevaluated

I'm bailing on my 14-man league this year and will only have a 10-man this year.

Your post made me realize how different they are. Got to get rid of my 14 team thinking.

Really pissed me off that they ruined the 14-man league. That was a great one. Two years ago they voted for only 6 moves a week max. Commish's brother was whining like a bitch and somehow passed a vote. Fucking pathetic.

6 moves sounds like a lot.

But I understand. I hate when good leagues go bad. And become not fun anymore. Happened to me more in my baseball leagues. I had a few I liked a lot and they just stopped being fun.

But finding football leagues is much easier.

There's an IDP spot that is streamed.

I also usually end up streaming my TEs, and this loser that bitched, he drafts Kelce and doesn't want anyone else benefitting from streaming TEs.

The deep backup RBs are always cycled around the league too. And half of us will all stream QBs, why not?

It took me like 8 years to convince these guys to deepen the benches. Now you can't even use those bench spots to have a plan B for a injured-questionable player in your lineup. It's two moves to pickup a guy on wednesday when your starter is hurt, and then swap him out when there's a better option (like another guy in the league got hurt friday and now you want his backup).

If you have guys Monday or Sunday night you need to keep moves available in case your guy doesn't play.

It's fucked. I did it for two years and all I wanted to do was bash the head of the guy that ruined my favorite league. Can't have that. Not fun. Not worth it.

IDP is a whole other story. Assumed it was a more standard league.
