Yeah, I don't understand the thinking. If you don't think you can let the guy throw the ball, then why the hell do you even have him playing quarterback? Obviously this coaching staff would not have drafted him if they had the choice and they are now stuck with him, but they have to try and do something for him. Of course it doesn't help that they are 2-1 right now, so why would they change anything?

Also, this is why I always trade picks. The last two QB I was high on at the draft was Fields and Lance. I suck. Even Allen, I was hoping for us to pick Roquan Smith.

Nice win by the way. Exciting finish. Josh had Isaiah open for the go ahead TD, but one-hopped it. Hard to get mad at the guy.

Then the safety and drive. Isaiah should have went down three seconds earlier on the last play…give Bass a chance.

Dolphins played well though. Held Josh to mostly check downs.
Not often the side with 40 minutes time of possession loses to the 20 side.

Even if that is the case, why would ANY coaching staff just go thru the motions? I mean, c'mon, isnt the definition of a "coach" to work and do the best with what you have? Put the team in the best position to win. Move the chains. Insert your favorite cleche here. What this staff/offense is doing is inexcusable.
