I flipped a 1-5 team to a champion once. Was scoring a ton of points but kept getting bad match ups early. Like all my guys would do well but the other guy would have someone go nuclear and score 40 pts by themselves or some shit. Just keep grinding to the playoffs. Once you're in, the rest doesn't matter.

Yessir! One of my money leagues got tired of 6-8 seeds ending up winning it all so they took a vote to reduce to 6-team playoffs. Almost reduced it to 4 lol. Anything can happen in the playoffs. But I'm not a fan of being the 1 seed lol. That seed is cursed almost 90% of the time once playoffs come around.

haven't dug into it too much but have been paying a little attention. from what I understand, the Favre deal is just one of many instances of fraud and state officials are getting busted for all of it, not just this volleyball thing. But since it's Brett Favre and during football season, that part is stealing the headlines

(or I might be misunderstanding the whole thing from the headline scanning I've done the last week or so)

yup, win some and lose some.
Avoiding Cook, Allgeier, Z White, Spiller, TDP, etc was the right call, I just shouldn't have put Pierce in that group as well, apparently
