Dolphins are trying to trade for Jadeveon Clowney, but one issue is reportedly holding things up

Although the Texans coach has spoken with Clowney, the pass-rusher hasn't given O'Brien any timeline for when he might show up and sign his tender.

"I think I spoke to him a few times since the end of our season," O'Brien said. "All the conversations have been good conversations. Very professional conversations, but I don't have any idea of any specific date of when he will decide he wants to be here."

Unfortunately for O'Brien, it doesn't seem like Clowney wants to be in Houston or Miami, which means he might not show up unless the team decides to trade him to Seattle or Philadelphia.

Dolphins are going to give him a extra sweet contract to get Clowney to agree to the trade and sign. Could happen because bullshit walks and money talks.

Rosen is much worse than Fitzpatrick.

Meh, much worse, a little worse, equally bad, whatever. If you're tanking, go with the young chump, at least you'll have the "building for the future" excuse to try and sell. Trading off your best players for picks and going with the journeyman with a 2nd year former #1 on the bench just sends a conflicting message..go all in on it already

That's a good question. I am not sure what this new coaches plan is but just my opinion, I like the trade and have heard him speak to the team and I am hopefully optimistic we have finally got a good coach. But I have been let down many times before when thinking that. As far as rosen and fitz and what my opinion is, I agree it would make more sence if they are tanking to go with Rosen so not sure what they are thinking with that. They just traded like so they are def trying and to tank it would certainly seem

Nothing worse than when everyone fears drafting zeke. And the whole league lets zeke get back to an owner who picked with the first 3 picks. To get a combo of zeke and any of the big 3 is sick!!!

So espn makes no sense. The top 1 is their rankings for the week.
The bottom one is their projections for every team this week. For instance in MBBRL i have the broncos D in. ESPN ranks them the 7th best play of the week. By their "projections" though they arent even top 13.

Ive noticed this with skill players too. Ive seen their PPR rankings, they will rank a guy in the 50's but have him projected for a good day........

my guess - one analyst is doing the weekly rankings, and someone else is doing projections

Yeah I was looking at that last draft...the Chargers were still available and like 5 defenses were already taken. Guys were just going by projections...terrible

I still don't like those projections for DEF

fun fact: Browns kicker Austin Seibert is from my hometown and went to the same high school as my wife.
my cousin got to kick against him when Seibert was a freshman and my cousin was a senior. (not my cousin that plays basketball)
