Does anyone think it would be useful to have a thread that focuses on what's going on with our division rivals in the NFC East?

For instance Gnats just lost Jon Beason

I didnt really want to devote a whole thread to the news, but the off topic thread felt like a weird place to put it.

I'm fine without one, just wondered what others thought.

Just need to be careful that it doesn't turn into a trash talking thread. Keep it to just the facts and recent happenings. Otherwise every time an item is posted, every troll will come and chime in, turning it into a trash talking thread.

Good point. Maybe set some parameters up. Definitely don't want it to be smack talk 2. Just a place where what's going on with division rivals could be noted.

As a Cowboy fan I think you are right. If you post any slightly negative info they will come in droves. Sounds like a good idea. Good luck with it. If it does turn troll all you have to do is delete the thread. I'd almost bring this idea to our board but the troll fears give me caution. Maybe I'll see how it goes here first.

i am not inclined to make a sticky because my experience here is to let the posters post what they want in threads they start and let them play out

it got to be a headache and i did a vote on it and the posters voted for less sticky's

that is why i got away from merging threads etc
