Listed in level of importance:

1. Be a P5 team
2. Go undefeated
3. If you lose, make sure it's a close game
4. Don't lose 2 games
5. Play a good OOC opponent and either win or lose close
6. Win your conference

I think this is how they actually do it.

1. Beat a P5 Team (gets rid of all those pesky G5 teams huh?)
2. Go undefeated (Because it's so easy to do)
3. If you lose, make sure it's a close one (oh yeah, I'll make sure of that, don't worry! Also, what's close? Under a TD? No more than a FG?)
4. Don't lose 2 games. (Totally agree)
5. Play a good OOC opponent and either win or lose close. (What's the criteria of a "good" OOC opponent? Also, see 3. for the "lose close" criteria)
6. Win your conference. (Agree to a certain extent)

At #2, you've eliminated all but Clemson, Alabama, Notre Dame and UCF. So, in your scenario, Oklahoma doesn't deserve to be in the playoff, that should actually go to UCF, amirite?

Don't forget SOS, FPI and any other alphabet abbreviations there are.
If only they went back to a system that didn’t account for that stuff, like the BCS. :dhd:

See post 3.

Yeah, asking for clarification as to who, based on his qualifications, would be in the CFP. Think you're just looking for an argument again.

I'm asking for clarification. How does that make me sound like a bitter bitch?

The guy is a total ass clown. All he does is march thread to thread calling people bitch’s that he disagrees with. It’s really a sad display of somebody who’s internally miserable with themselves. Can’t think of a more sad existence?

1. BE A P5 TEAM. My original post was not a typo.

So....

At 1 you have Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio State, Washington
At 2 you have Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame
At 3 you have Ohio State and Georgia OUT, which leaves Oklahoma and Washington
At 4 you have Georgia and Washington OUT, which leaves Oklahoma
At 5 you have Oklahoma (Army), Washington (Auburn), Ohio State (TCU)
At 6 you have Oklahoma, Washington, Ohio State.

Ohio State and Georgia got eliminated at rule 3, which left Washington and Oklahoma to rule 4, where Washington was eliminated. This left Oklahoma as the obvious choice for 4.

Aah gotcha. Mah bad for misreading #1. You would still consider Auburn and TCU good OOC opponents even with their records?

He laid it out pretty clear for you. You didn’t like it so you had a typical bitter bitch style meltdown.

Yup, just looking for an argument. If you thought that was a meltdown, you're a fucking idiot. That's something you would say right?

Yup, just looking for an argument. If you thought that was a meltdown, you need to venture off to different threads.

I’m sorry, tantrum would have probably been a better word choice.

I would define close as 14 or less depending on when the last score occurred. Fifteen points or more is no longer a salvageable loss, ESPECIALLY to a team ranked significantly lower than said team. While losing to LSU in Baton Rouge isn't a bad thing (Georgia), losing by 20 points is definitely a bad thing.
