No. Welker was quick, but slow.
mcro_rave_2001;3472379[B said:]games are won and lost in the trenches,[/B] i don't' care how fast Brady use to get the ball out, the fact remains that this preseason he hasn't been getting it out as fast. I think it's mostly do to the chemistry being off with the WR group.
Well living here in sunny Florida I did not get the game. But Jesus Christ Briz this was more about the Pats shitty play from what I have read and less about the Lions great play. Week three preseason is considered by most the week to test the waters, see where you are, looks like this defense ( secondary ) and fundementals are a major concern.
lions d is mentally retarded and were out there playing their sb just like in 2011.
Keep saying it and I am sure you will believe it. Would you prefer your team to come out like limp flaccid losers?
It may not mean anything but to ignore a bad performance as a possible red flag is just wishful thinking. From my perspective I would rather my tea be sitting with the better score but thats just me.
theres nothing to believe in its pure fact. lions d played their sb again in a meaningless preseason game. nobody respects the lions d cuz they are dirty and pull crap like trying to prove something to the pats in the preseason. some of the shoves in the back of players after the play was over was some of the worst i seen and embarrasing. the thing is the lions are frauds, they try to act tough but they really arent. then there are players that -are- really tough, like logan mankins. they dont need to go around prove it to everyone. they dont need to talk smack. they are naturally tough and nasty and everyone knows it. lions d pretend to be tough and nasty. fairly aint a tough guy go watch him in college you wont see him playing his fake dirty game like he is with the lions.
anyways no amendola, no gronk, and playing in preseason mode im pretty sure the lions wouldnt want to meet the pats in the reg season or playoffs.
Seriously, cut this shit out. The lions did nothing dirty. They played with more intensity and that's it.
No. Welker was quick, but slow.
r u serious jdm? they had 5 personal fouls. fairly shoving a guy in the back knocking him flat after the play was as dirty as it gets. one of their guy grab brady by the shirt collar and pointed his finger in his face. he got benched by schwartz! there was so much more too. if thats not dirty to you id like to know what you think is dirty!? yes the did play more intense too but it was dirty as well imo. you dont really need to play like that to get respect and i feel like alot of it is fake.
I'm still higher on Dobson. I'm not the one who was reading nailing the Thompkins point home, though.
His skill set fits a number 2 slot better IMO. I still think Dobson should start at 1 and will be disappointed if this doesn't happen.
There was maybe one personal foul that would be called in a real game. Are you seriously telling me grabbing Brady's jersey is worthy of a 15 yard penalty?
he didnt just grab his jersey he pulled him and pointed in his face taunting him. he was benched by his coach for it. it was deffintly a penalty. it was disrespectfull too. i clearly saw two players shoved in the back after the play was over. not light shoves either these guys were jacked in the back. if you ever played football you would know hitting a guy in the back is a no-no and a good way to invite a haymaker to your face. the lions played/play a dirty style imo.
How is it dirty, though? There was no chance of a million years of Brady being hurt by that.
Playing hard and being dirty aren't the same. They played hard, they hit hard, and they played to the whistle. Even slightly after isn't dirty, although it is dumb. Pushing someone in the back isn't dirty.
Dirty is cheap shots and trying to hurt people. Neither of those happened.
We needed to be kicked in the teeth. We will be a better team for playing that game than if the lions half-assed it.
