Preseason Game 2 thread

Skins are up this week. For those who cant catch it live they will be reshowing it Midnight Thur/Fri and 1PM on Friday on NFL network.

I'm glad we get to face a mobile QB in the preseason. RG3 won't be scrambling all that much, I'm sure, since it's just a preseason game, but it will be good for the defense, particularly the back 7, to face a guy who moves out of the pocket, and is a threat to tuck it and run.

We don't have that guy on our roster, so our defense doesn't get to practice against that kind of threat...

Agreed. The defense really did not get tested except for the run a little. Jets have no offense except for running the ball behind Mangold and Colon to the right. They can not run outside or throw. They could not do anything at all once those 2 guys were out of the game.

The Skins have some weapons on offense so it will be interesting to see where we are. I am also hoping to see our offense more. I expect to see them execute. The first offense should be out there for a quarter or so.

If the defense can contain the NFLs best QB then we will know we are in good shape.

Not sure if RG3's quote was worse than Mr. Peacock's? Either way, I'm not sure how either passed a whiz quiz?

Peacock needs to go back to the practice squad this year. He is overmatched by the other WRs. I guess there are still 3 games left for him to show his stuff. Not great in game 1 though.
