The saints are going to draft BPA I think among what they like. The secondary is really not that bad but Hargreaves or Jackson would be nice addition to the secondary and should teams figure Breaux out and he regresses he can move to a safety or slot. But we need to shore up the dline and get Lawson.

Big rumor that seems to be building is that the Saints might trade up to take Paxton Lynch.

Trade up or use #11?

Well some don't think Paxton Lynch is making it out of the top-10 with the top-2 guys going 1-2 so it would have to be a trade up. Baltimore might be in the perfect spot to trade back with San Fran and Cleveland both needing a QB of the future. I'm told the Bears have shown some interest as well. They can definitely risk it and stay at #12 but I think he will go before that.

That was refuted by saints and ESPN. Keep listening to Rappaport.

Imo Saints should take every offensive player off their draft board.

I do think the Browns are the one team that will determine Paxton Lynch's value and everyone else will move around that. The Niners probably go oline, the Giants, Ravens, Chargers, Jaguars and Bucs are locked up with QBs. The Cowboys almost have to go defense.

So...Browns or he is going to drop a bit.

It's a weird rumor for the Saints anyway; they just took Grayson at #75 last year and Brees isn't going anywhere soon.

Classic smokescreen imo. Almost undoubtedly they are targeting one or more of the top defensive prospects.

Yeah, at this point why trust any rumor unless there is an actual trade completed?

At this point, if I was a betting man, I'm putting money on Cleveland trading back, either with Chicago or Miami. I don't think it happens before the first pick is taken off the board, but both teams are hot on Zeke. I think it will come down to who offers the sweeter deal, likely a 1st rounder next year, or a 2nd and 4th this year.

Considering the saints dropped a qb who played well last pre-season because of having a party reputation(getting face smashed by bottle at a nightclub last spring), I can't see how they would draft someone who scored low on the wonderlic and has maturity issues.

Grayson is supposed to be the future. The saints run a complicated offensive system that takes time for a QB to learn, and Grayson is the old school method of QBs(sit behind a starter for a few years) that is no longer first round. Also, Grayson is not a read option. They also signed another qb, forgot his name to be the fourth on the team.

Yep, the Browns have the right strategy keep getting draft picks, who needs 1st round elite prospects lets just stock up on 3rd rounders.

My prediction for the Houston Texans first-round pick?

I'm not sure who it is going to be but whoever it is, the Houston fans will bitch about it for months.

If they trade down with Miami, it'd likely include a 1st next year. That would give them three 1st rounders in what is supposed to be a more loaded class (all three likely to be in the top 15 range), and they'll still be able to address one of several positions of need at 13. Sounds like a good strategy to me.

Then they can use those 1st rounders and trade down to get more picks including first rounders for the following year.

Lol, just giving them a hard time.

No reason for a Hawks fan to tune in tomorrow, they will trade their 1st round pick.

Watch them surprise the living day lights out us, by moving up to draft Rankins. If he falls enough to be within range, I could actually see this happening. However almost every mock has the Saints taking him at the 12th spot.

My semi-realistic Chiefs big board on who I think they'd take:

1) Paxton Lynch
2) Taylor Decker
3) William Jackson III
4) Trade out of first round if there are takers
5) Chris Jones
Actually, with the rumors on Walterfootball putting these players out of the Chiefs range, I'm meaning towards WR. Treadwell, Michael Thomas or Josh Doctson.

Even with the public castigation; ripping draft picks away from the honorable Patssssssss (no pun), they still have the second most picks in this draft. What a bunch of cheetahs!
