I like your beard.
@DarrenDreger: Source say the Pens/Stars have a trade in place for Brendan Morrow. However,he has yet to waive his NTC.
Yikes.
I'm not sure that Brenden Morrow has much left in the tank. Still a good player but I'm not sure I'd give up Joe for him.
D prospects is a huge area of strength for the Pen though.
I like Bennet too much to move him out of the top six. But Morrow would look good opposite Cooke on Sutter's line, I think, and that would push TK out of the lineup or to our anemic fourth line.
I'm sold on getting Morrow at the right price. I'm just not sure he's one of our six best forwards if we get him. I guess Bennet can give the third line a scoring touch, though. We do need some more secondary scoring, and this move will provide that, no matter what line Morrow plays on.
I only say this because I think Bennett has done REALLY well with Sutter/Jeffrey. I think he will be that winger, but I see him getting a lot of good stuff from playing on the third line. A little less pressure, still have a great play maker at center, and learning to be gritty with Cooke. That said: Morrow could add a lot to the third line too.
I hope this happens, just so maybe it means that I never have to see Iginla in a Penguins jersey
EDIT: Fuck Dallas
However we work it out, we'll have a better offensive fourth line after this move. So which two of those guys do we scratch? I think Glass and Vitale will be the casualties.
