I don't see Harper's year this year being any better than Piazza had in 97. And Piazza didn't win MVP and his team was substantially better than Harper's this year. Fortunately for Harper, a lot (in fact every single one) of the MVP voters, many of which aren't sabermetrics folks, think you don't know shit about baseball.

Rizzo had a 145 wRC+ in 2015, which ranks behind unforgettable seasons such as 2005 Mark Teixeira, 2002 Ryan Klesko, and 2011 Michael Morse, and 1966 Felipe Alou. Greatness.

I just wanted to circle back around to this to acknowledge that you are right.

Harper being the youngest player unanimously voted to MVP does not change what you said, nor could it. What it does do, though, is clearly demonstrate how retarded what you said actually was.
