I've read some things about him today. But it's weird, I've been a baseball fan for decades and I'm pretty sure I never heard that name before. Every other name on that list I'm pretty familiar with except for Pete Alexander. (mainly because I always heard him called Grover Cleveland).
Here is his page from Baseball Reference.
The stats are as good as they can come up with. The ***** Leagues couldn't always afford scorers, so the stats are not complete. Buck O'Neil said that he could have hit 40 homers, 50 doubles, 20 triples and stolen 80 bases a season easily.

He’s been in Cooperstown longer than I’ve been alive.

Doubt we see a movie. He wasn’t the nicest guy.
Arky Vaughn has been in the Hall forever, but he only got on my radar in the last 10 years or so. And that dude was a freakin’ stud. One of the elite SSs of all time.

Ken Griffey Jr is #57 in the all time WAR list. I get that everyone loves Griffey and his tools but he didnt have the career to get to #13.

Sign me up for the 'Henderson needs to be higher' fanclub, too

Griffey gets exalted for being clean.

Yup, you never really know. There was no testing for forever. And when testing did arrive, a lot of the positives were by less bulky players. Plus, it's not like Griffey was skinny. He was an impressive physical specimen.

It is strange he doesnt get more attention. Short career I guess.

I still have no idea why he missed multiple seasons. It was during the war, but he didn’t serve.

Barry Larkin and Jeter definitely shouldn’t be on the list over Arky.

I'd take Koufax over Pedro any day. Those 6 years were the best of any pitcher, he was unstoppable ( except for Arthur Itis ) Ending his career at a peak has an untold story about him, Of the pitcher I saw, Clemmens, Maddux are the only two who had tougher stuff for a 6-year span.
It boggles my mind still that Maddux in that long career with 3000+ Ks and 300+ wins...walked fewer than 100 batters. Think about that for a second. He walked like 6 batters per year...

Neither was Hitler but the history channel is littered with movies about him
Hitler was definitely famous. It's the hall of fame after all.

I’d rank him #1 right handed evuh if it was fewer than 100. That would have been something to witness.

We have a mythical figure we have joked about on the Giants board for close to 15 years now. His name is Nick Lowery. Long story of how he came about, but he is basically the Chuck Norris of Giants players.

If Maddux actually had those numbers, Nick Lowery would not be able be on the same field with him.

its actually 999/46 per 162 games avg according to baseball reference but then theres this tidbit

Reality: Greg Maddux faced 20,421 batters during his career. Only 644 (that we know of; we are missing data for 1,166 batters) saw a 3–0 count — and 153 came on intentional walks.

there was no record of pitch counts before 88

You might want to check your figures on that…

The first MLB game my lil lady ever attended was a Giants/Reds game. Took her so she could see Barry Bonds.

He got the day off.

But Noah Lowry started for you guys. Think she might still dream about that dude.

Not sure if he’s related to Nick, but I’d like to think he’s just as handsome.

Nick Lowery is so handsome he fell in love with his own reflection. When someone told him Narcissus did that first in ancient Greece he said he makes Narcissus look like Newt Gingrich.

I would like to assume he would had more injury luck if he wasnt clean but like you said. You never really know
