This should be a great NFC Championship game. By far the two best teams in the NFC. it is so great when two bitter rivals face off to go to the SB.

Kapernick has shown no ability to even show up in Seattle. If it happens again on Sunday, this is what he will be known for his entire career until he proves otherwise. Kind of like "insert star player here" V.S. Jordan.

i picked the 49'ers based on how the two teams have been playing the last 6 weeks. Seems to me that 49'ers have more heart and determination. Couple that with the fact that this 49'er team was in the SB last year, I think they have something to prove and the Seahawks are viewed as "being in the way".

I'd rather the seahawks win cause if the Broncos make it to SB, they will totally destroy Seattle. I just don't see the 49'ers letting this chance get by them.

I don't know. I think although everyone believes in their respective teams, it isn't that hard to fathom the opposite team winning. If most were to give an honest percentage on how confident they were in their prediction I would say most would be below 60% confident that their team wins.

I'll take my Hawks in this one, but certainly not in a blow out. I think it will be a very close game. I'm guessing Hawks 20 - 49ers 17.

Here's to a great game and no injuries. I also hope that the refs just let them play, but I have a feeling if the players on both sides start getting too chippy, they flags will start flying in the hopes they can keep it under control.

You may be right. For most of us this may be a week of saving face knowing that we may very well have a summer of crow-eating ahead of us and a rival fanbase that may be very eager to throw the victory in our face at every turn

Not that I am not confident Seattle can beat the 49ers, but the main reason I wanted Carolina to win was because I could probably accept losing to them more than I will be able to accept losing to the 49ers...and having to hear about it all over again for an another entire season.

You're probably right.

Right now I think most of us on both sides are mentally preparing to have our still beating hearts ripped out of our chests this Sunday. After we deal with that it'll be on!
