We have only lost 1 home game since Russell Wilson became the Seahawks QB.

16-1 at home with Wilson including the playoffs.

And as I asked last week what impact will that have come Sunday? I hate the 49ers team more than Seattle but they have a much better fanbase. Every single week Seattle reason for thinking they will win is because they're at home and Kaep is shit (ignoring the fact that Wilson isn't any better). Can I get some actual football reasons why Seattle will win?

Comparison of the Seahawks/49ers pass offense/defense. The leader is in bold.

49ers pass offense: 417 ATT 58.5 CMP% 3210 YDs 7.7 YPA 21 TD 8 INT 91.7 QB rating
Seahawks pass offense: 420 ATT 63.6 CMP% 3508 YDs 8.4 YPA 27 TD 9 INT 102.4 QB rating

49ers pass defense: 585 ATT 59.0 CMP% 3819 YDs 6.5 YPA 19 TD 18 INT 76.4 QB rating
Seahawks pass defense: 524 ATT 59.0 CMP % 3050 YDs 5.8 YPA 16 TD 28 INT 63.4 QB rating

The only stat that the 49ers pass offense leads in is INTs, by one.
The 49ers defense has seen more pass attempts and has the same completion percentage as the Seahawks defense.

I would love to see these numbers from Week 14-present because SF clearly been the better offense recently (since week 14) because Seattle offense been shit. Seattle defense will keep them in the game but unless Wilson is outstanding, I don't see them winning

Your such a turncoat. Seahawks will win because they have the better defense and their offense will operate better then the 49ers offense in the Clink.

Seattle's edge on defense is against the pass, though, which isn't a massive factor anyways. SF is better against the run which is what this game will come down to. This will be a smash mouth game with the winner being the team that does better on the ground.

I posted the statistics of the Seahawks passing offense/defense and the 49ers passing offense/defense and the statistics are substantially in the Seahawks favor.

The Seahawks have a slightly better defense and a slightly better offense. Take that and add in the fact that the 49ers offense and defense have played poorly in Seattle and I see a game that could be decided in the Seahawks favor by 7+ points.

The last two times these teams played in Seattle the Seahawks have combined for 71 points (35.5 PPG) and only allowed 16 points (8 PPG).

Their offense falls apart in Seattle. Even if you believe the Seahawks offense is worse than the 49ers offense you have to acknowledge the fact that even a mediocre offense is better than the 49ers offense in Seattle.

Again, what does SF's last 8 games or their past Lombardi's have to do with this game this week.
Carolina won 8 straight before they got blasted by your Saints.
234 gave you stats, you asked for football reasons, and you dismiss them based on what you want to hear.
You said last week Seattle would lose, I believe you had an AVATAR bet that you lost.
:omg:Is your AVATAR still the same?:wtf2:

Mmmm I think it comes down to turnovers. Advantage Seahawks. Seahawks are #1 in the turnover battle with 39 turnovers and a plus 20 in diff. the 49ers are second, but a distant second. How do you see the Pats doing against the Broncos?

QB with superior football IQ: Wilson.

Beastmode vs. Gore? Beastmode, especially with his yds after contact.

Kaep throwing at Sherman and Thomas is a really bad idea. The legion of boom is probably the #1 reason why SF will lose this Sunday.

Kaep gets rattled easy in Seattle. Turns into a deer in headlights. Then the sacks and INTs start pilling up.

Defense? Both are Top5, but when Seattle's D is at home, they're a nightmare for anyone.

Homefield advantage. Seattle is 16-1 at home the past two years.

And when Seattle massacred the 49ers a few months ago here, we didn't even have Percy Harvin out there.

Niners are going to be listening all week about how they can't win in Seattle even though they've won 2 brutal road games.

But I did pick the Seahawks to win the Super Bowl so....16-10 Seahawks over Niners

You're right. Seattle should win by 3 TDs. San Fran shouldn't bother showing up.

So now your going to start cherry picking stats to justify your conclusions. Fail.

Please by all means, bet against Seattle at home. Please do. vCash, your real bankaccount, the house. Go for it.

The 49ers and Seahawks rushing D is pretty even, slightly in the Seahawks favor.

The 49ers give up 95.6 YPG, the Seahawks give up 101.6 YPG.
But, the reason for the 6 YPG difference is due to the fact that teams have run more against the Seahawks (422 rushing attempts) than the 49ers (397 rushing attempts).

The 49ers defense has allowed 11 rushing touchdowns.
The Seahawks defense has allowed 4 rushing touchdowns.

The 49ers defense allows 3.87 YPC
The Seahawks defense allows 3.85 YPC

The Seahawks lead the 49ers in both of those two major categories.

Frank Gore has 44 yards rushing 0 TD in his last two games in Seattle.
Marshawn Lynch has 209 yards rushing 4 TD in his last two games against the 49ers in Seattle.

Does a 4th consecutive road game mean nothing for the niners? they have been playing good ball but eventually the bounces stop going your way. we are due some bounces in our favor.

I expect it to be a close game. Our defense has really come on and I think Welker will be the toughest matchup. Talib on Thomas I'm happy with, dennard on decker I'm happy with, Collins (maybe?) on Julius Thomas I'm happy with. Welker we don't have an awesome match for, though. Arrington or Logan Ryan (probably) have their hands full. My biggest consolation there is that he drops too many balls and if that's who Peyton's targeting in a key situation he's prone to blow it.

I like Blount against Denver's defense, and the play action that opens up. He's been running explosive as of late and has fairly fresh legs.

Best gameplan is similar to the first matchup. Make Denver run, pound the ball, and keep Peyton from getting into a rhythm as long as possible. The less passes Peyton throws, the harder it will be to get a handle on the looks Belichick is going to pull out of that pass defense late and the better shot he has to get the advantage on him with a late turnover or two, which are pretty common is the Belichick - Manning chess match and would be likely to decide the game.

Yep just as it did for the Giants, Ravens, and Steelers in the last few yrs. That Arizona game meant nothing. They were already in the playoffs and were just playing for seeding.

What does that say about the Saints? :noidea:

I'm as honest as they come about my team. The offensive game plan was shitty and it wasn't the way it was supposed to be until late 3rd/4th.

Can't see the 49ers having a 15 yard punt and missing 2 fgs next week....Do you?
