i cant understand this . i supposedly ran every person with a view different from mine off and this thread is toxic ??? i dont understand , the guy calling it toxic is doing what ???? oh posting here , and i think shark has been hammering away on his POV and so was chiller .could it be its just par for the course and people were out doing things in the early summer during a slow football news cycle ? could it be that sty is simply taking his usual mini vacation from the board ?

most of these posters have been here for years . they arent going to be run off because they disagree with me

real men and woman fight for their beliefs and admit their mistakes when they happen . they dont just pack up and go because they didnt get their way . now we had one poster pick up his stuff and leave long before we had a politics thread . he couldnt live with a different POV on the football side of the house

people come and go here . its the way it works

the people who dont follow the rules here are usually the same people who i have had to tighten up and they are butt hurt about it . i know of a couple who got over it and let bygones be bygones . i know a couple who just cant

Remember that today the House democrats voted unanimously 236 to 0 to allow men to participate in female sports activities. Sadly 8 GOP voted that way also but 173 voted against it.
Remember this day when in a couple years time your female high school athlete misses out on an athletic scholarship because some man in a dress is awarded the scholarship.

Unions for government employees is a horrible idea and simply wrong. Government employees are supposed to be civil servants. You take what is offered or find another job. Schools do not exist for the teachers...they exist for the education of students. If all the students were to disappear, there would be no teachers. If all the teachers disappeared, they would be replaced.

In my district three tenured teachers were fired this year, two the year before. In my neighboring school district, six were let go this year, two the year before.

You dont hear about the efficiency with which school districts replace ineffective personnel because it doesnt fit the idiotic narrative that “tenured teachers are hard to fire.”
