Let’s see if the new Supreme Court holds them to be “blatantly unconstitutional.” After all, the law is what the court says it is, right? We live under a “living constitution,” remember?

To see the injustice of the Manafort case, imagine if the govt targeted you because of your politics. Then they discover you did this or that. So they go after you. But this would never have happened if not for your beliefs. In sum, you would be a victim of political prosecution

If Manafort had no ties to Trump none of this would have happened to him. That ALONE makes his penalty unjust. Whether he did the crime is immaterial. He was prosecuted because of his politics, not his misdeeds. This case reveals the machinations of a police state

I'll just respond to your third point by pointing out that level 5 category storms are the highest rating that can be given. this is based upon... Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.

Sorry that you have issues reading what's posted. I've consistently maintained that climate change is real and based upon (now this is important to you) intensity and frequency. You don't have to believe me, a simple thread search will confirm this. So much for you attempted claim that I'm moving the goalposts.

I have no issues reading. The highest intensity storm happened 30 years ago. In 1939, there was a storm equally powerful to anything of today. I was told that storms were more intense.

No need to get mad though. You will be dead soon and it won’t be because of global warming.

I would suggest you look at the number of major storms making landfall around the world, the level of flooding and tornados in this country. Yes the numbers and severity of all of these things are actually increasing.

If you wanted your child or any child to have high quality public education, you'd become more involved in what it takes to correct it, instead of running away from it, then complaining about how awful it is from a distance.

People don’t want to do what is required to make education quality. Instead, they want to pretend people are equal. They want to teach to the lowest common denominator, instead of pushing children.

Oh, my wife and I volunteered everyday when he was in public school. Then the principal said she would prefer that parents not help their children with homework because it isn’t fair to the other students. Sorry but that is public education.

So when the powers that be don’t like the actual correction to the education system, that system can kiss my ass. That answer, in case you missed it, is parental involvement. So, I will take my son out of public education and allow him to excel in honor’s courses and an early graduation.

Except the numbers do not support what you claim.

I showed you the most intense storms in history. The ones in recent years are up there, but not the most intense. Perhaps, there are more storms in number that are of a high intensity, or maybe our recording of them is better.

You mention flooding levels, but the largest levels of flooding by rain occurred in the 50s to 70s. Maybe the reason flooding seems so bad is the contraction of people in a locality expense we put in the area.

The level of tornados in this country isn’t even close to its all time worst.

Here is the thing. If CO2 levels are the reason for higher intensity storms and the frequency they occur, why doesn’t every year get continually worse?

Nobody on this board knows anything about the strongest this, the hottest that and the coldest the other. All we know is what we know since intelligent man has been around to record. This Earth has gone thru many ages both cold and hot since this ball of rock came to be... long before man got here. Methane gas scientist concur was perhaps responsible for the Oecene period, and solar radiation from the suns heat likely the cause of the ice age. We still have both. We are but the size of a grain of sand in the scheme of things astronomical. To believe this Earth is changing temps (which it has done repeatedly for the 4.5 billions years it has existed is now being cause by us ants is insanely ignorant to suggest. Pretty big place for mankind to think he's in charge of things.
