@gkekoa privilege much like racism has evolved as our world has gotten smaller through technology and increased education.
In todays US, the concept of white privilege is no so much about things you get because you are white, but more centered around treatment you dont and likely never will have to put up with.. yes because you are white. Assumptions that are made and basically accepted will never affect you.
So no we dont have signs like whites only on water fountains or bathrooms. And I agree there are some black privileges you will never have. But I will trade you. You can be the first guy picked in a pickup game of basketball... and I will take not having the first words to come out of a traffic officers mouth being "Do you have any drugs or weapons in the car" for $100.
Deal?
I knew he still has something left. He was ours for the taking. Damn it!!!
So Dean...how did AP do today? Did his team score a single point?
nope. are you going to do this after every game?
Will you pat yourself on the back every time you appear to be right, even when you are wrong?
how am I wrong? lol. AP proved he can still do it two weeks ago.
Why, just why ? Political forum dudeAll right guys a new question......Most people don't contribute more than a cursory "Thanks for your service" when the question is, who fights/serves the country militarily. Generally speaking only a very small percentage of people ever wear the uniform and of that percentage most are from low middle and poverty level families.
Here the question: Should there be a no exceptions draft/mandatory service requirement covering all income and educational levels?

Why would there be?
MAybe it would instill a few things in our youth that they are currently lacking. A sense of understanding and acceptance for one.
