Please draft some lineman!

We really need to spend our first picks on offensive and defensive lineman. Hopefully some multi position guys.
I will just puke if they waste it on another wide receiver reach!

Jack Patera used to use the excuse that it takes 4 years for a line to gel. After 4 years I think he was finally fired. We gotta do a better job drafting and coaching these guys. Do they get better with experience? I don't know.

I wouldn't worry about Bevell being around after this season. I know there's been some adversity but he's done a horrible job of handling it. There's absolutely no thought as far as the personnel or game situation in his play calling. I thought the draw on 4th with Unger out was a worse call than that to tell you the truth. Loud stadium with the backup center who'd be lucky to get the snap count right? WTF kind of thought went into that?

Patera was drunk half of his life but on the plus side he did run fake fg passes to small, chubby, hispanic kickers! No sober person would even think of throwing it to Hererra but Patera did it several times! Crazy!

If the team cannot turn it around and right the ship this year, then I think that a complete shift in philosphy might have to be considered.

If Lynch leaves or hangs it up, then maybe we should consider rebuilding the OL and DL, getting some better WRs and let Wilson start throwing it up more(?). It might be interesting to see the results.

On the other hand, as long as Lynch is here we should just keep handing him the ball as often as possible. His effort really has been fun to watch over the recent years.
