After my normal game with the boys... Was exhausted so I only took 3 clubs out (6 iron, 54 degree & putter) and played from the ladies tees with her.

Made 7 pars and 2 birdies for a 33... I'm trying to figure out just how god damn good that was. There was only 1 par 4 that I couldn't reach in regulation and I got it up & down. Actually could have been a 31.

BTW, I think I may do that more often. What a great way to dial in just a few clubs and work on shotmaking on the course..

how long of a course was this?

But a 33 is extremely impressive imho using only those 3 clubs.

And at least you were guaranteed no "di&^*" outs" either :)

Normal 6 iron yardage is 180 for me but I was putting it back in my stance off of the tee and hitting low hooks so that they would run out in the fairway.

You sound like a professional golfer since you were able to remember all your shots! Good for you! IF I hit it right I think I can hit my 6 around 180 as well. Finally figured out how to hit a 3 and a 4 iron (granted on the range), still have yet to gain confidence with it out on the actual course.

As far as my putting is concerned... It's as good as Aaron Hernandez is at "hiding the evidence"

I'm a 2 handicap these days. For comparison's sake, the earlier round was from the tips 6,800 yards and I had 4 bogies and 1 birdie for 74. Golf is fickle, I just happen to be playing pretty well at the moment. I don't practice anymore and I'm not sure it would make much of a difference if I did anyway.

Damn. If I wanted a score of 74, I would have to quit after the 15th hole :gaah:

Sounds like you had a btetter day than me. I had my rival down two after 16 and then collapsed on 17 and 18 with a bogey and a double bogey. My opponent finished birdie, birdie so I go from two up to losing by three. arghh!

Similar collapse.. missed a 5 footer for birdie to get back to even on 15 then bogied 16 & 18 to shoot 74.

Well, at least you can take solace in that you bested me by a stroke.
