Good response by Pittsburgh so far, but they're not getting any second chances. A couple that looked like they should have been, but we're not making Bob make any second saves yet. That will have to change.

Honestly, I think that's how they should be playing, and should have been playing all series. Columbus is playing aggressively on the forecheck and taking away our forwards' space. Preventing them from gaining the zone and generating off the rush on turnovers in the neutral zone might be our recipe for success if we can't get sustained zone time against them.

We don't get sustained zone time because as soon as we do establish the zone with the initial rush, we shoot the puck trying to catch Bobrovsky off guard. However, that is also why we aren't getting any second chances either.

I couldn't have really asked for much more out of the Jackets. They slowed it down, clogged the lanes and attacked the puck.

And Kris Letang, thank you for leaving the guy you just crosschecked alone at the post to go and try and hit someone else.
