That and every article talking about MAF (and Price) being "just good enough". Push your narratives all you want, but don't make up crap that didn't happen. Heck, that article shows a gif of Sid getting hassled and NOT responding. Sooooo...

Blue Jackets/Penguins drew a 16.9 in Pittsburgh, a 4.4 in Columbus.

4.4 is actually solid for CBus. Season average was a 0.8, and Cinci drew a 1.9. 16.9 is sort of insane.

Count me in that 16.9, even though I'm in FL. ;)

There was around 350 in the R Bar downtown and close to 3000 watching one screen at the official viewing party as well. Watching games at bars/wing joints is a pretty big thing so that's a lot of eyes on one "household".

Plus Fox Sports Ohio had it on, for those of us that didn't want to hear "rifled/knifed/shot/wired/hammered" all night long, we watched that.

I was pretty impressed that Sid turned the other cheek. I guess he learned his lesson after Chara last year. He still spent a lot of time doing his thing at the refs, but... he *is* captain.

What surprised me was Malkin. I didn't think he could get angry. And Letang. Would love to have heard what was said to cause that spear.

Both those guys are known to have short fuses. Geno didn't take a stupid penalty, so I was happy with that. They were all over Geno, so I'm not surprised he looked angry/frustrated. He didn't have a great game, even though he had two points. Letang had a fairly rough night in general...heck, half our D did. Nisky-Maatta were great with more limited minutes. Niskanen has a big pay day coming...I just hope that he somehow he gives a hometown discount.

Faceoff-Factor

FF does a good job with some of the advanced stuff. Most interesting point is one that I somehow picked up on too: behind the net work. The Pens got a lot of chances working from behind the net, and I expect them to hone in on that a bit going forward. I called for that on the PP merely because the Jackets gave Sid a lot of time and space there.

EDIT: Also, they need to make Bob play the puck as much as possible.

Pretty cool to see driving across 670 at night. That building is right next door to the arena.
