Now that you mention it, 43, yes, it does appear to be a tactic to "accidentally" lose the faceoff. Not just against one team.

Such is the life of a goalie. One complete stinker to let the other team tie it and it overshadows the rest of the work you do. He probably wants the last one back too, but that was one hell of a snipe.

Jackets played the game they needed to play. Establish the physical game, create turnovers and get the Pens angry. A few too many poor decisions (always take/make the hit) and one key adjustment by the Pens in the third (I say "what?") and that was it. Jackets need to come out with a 60 minute effort Sat. They should have Foligno and Umberger back. And they need to pull Nikitin out and put Schulz in. He can skate and hit better. Get more at the net. Fleury had a few keystone cops moments in the first and second, but recovered nicely for the third. His confidence came through, so they need to shake that again.

Was (almost) everything I hoped for for a first game. Bob will blame himself. And he usually has a really good outing the next time after he feels he fucked up.
