Tuesday: RHP Jacob deGrom (3-2, 2.80) vs. *RHP Juan Nicasio (5-5, 5.34), 7:10 p.m. ET

Wednesday: RHP Noah Syndergaard (6-2, 2.00) vs. LHP Jeff Locke (5-4, 5.38), 7:10 p.m. ET

Thursday: RHP Bartolo Colon (5-3, 3.08) vs. TBA, 7:10 p.m. ET

*Pittsburgh lists Juan Nicasio as the starter. But Nicasio tossed 44 pitches while pitching an inning in relief on Friday. And Pirates broadcaster Greg Browntweeted that Nicasio will not start Tuesday. Brown instead speculates that Jameson Taillon, who was demoted after making his major league debut last week against the Mets, will pitch opposite deGrom.

NEW YORK -- Here are the lineups for Tuesday's 7:10 p.m. ET series opener between the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates at Citi Field.

The Pirates have promoted Jameson Taillon to make the spot, with Gerrit Colelanding on the disabled list with a triceps strain.

Neil Walker (lower back) and Michael Conforto (wrist) remain out of the lineup for the Mets. Conforto received a cortisone injection Monday for a cartilage strain.

Terry Collins, who was released from a Milwaukee hospital on Monday, will manage the Mets. He missed Sunday's series finale in Milwaukee.
