Wacha was the 19pick in the 2012(Appel draft), man alot of people gonna regret passing him.

we do have several players around 20 abs against him with good to great numbers. Barmes even has a ops over 1 against him.

Worst case out of this post season we saw the true coming out of Pedro Alvarez. Just hope he can turn around those numbers against lefties and he will be a top power hitter for years to come.

Then with McCutchen unlike another former OF superstar for the Pirates, McCutchen at least got on base in the post season.

Wacha's location was outstanding today. There's not much a hitter can do with 97 on the edge over and over again. I thought our approach was largely pretty good, but Wacha's execution was just that much better.

We just have to hope Cole is as sharp as last time and Wainwright isn't.

I hear what you are saying, and I didn't see Wacha at all yesterday, but I still can't buy that ML hitters can't hit that pitch, when he only throws fastball/changeup consistently.

This series has been so even all season, especially these past two games. I have a suspicion this one could prove to be a classic. I just hope we find ourselves on the right side of it.
