Need to hit those fastballs. Fouling off 92 mph straight fastballs down the middle is no way to beat Wainwright. Those need to be deposited on the outfield grass with regularity.

Can this play-by-play guy identify pitches at all? He called the curveball Wainwright struck Marte out on a fastball, and he called a curveball Cole just threw a fastball.

That was a mistake pitch.

Cole's only made one bad pitch this game, and it was that curveball. It was barely on the inside edge, but up, and it got hit into the seats.

Wainwright's left a few fastballs over the heart already, and we've either fouled them off or hit it right at someone.

Things aren't going our way early.

But that catch by Marte did! What a play!

I still like our chances in this one. Cole's been sharp aside from just one pitch really, and the Bucs have been able to put good wood on several Wainwright pitches so far.

But we need to break him before he gets comfortable.
