We have an entirely new TE room and it was much needed. Honestly, Graham/Kmet/Harris is pretty solid. Not great, but solid. And if Graham can recapture some magic or Kmet comes on quickly? It becomes damn good.

I think it's arguably the worst position from last year. QB and o-line are the quick thoughts, but TE was just awful. Our best play was from practice squad no-names.

Go back to Trubisky's second season, and Trey Burton was the key to success for the Bears' O. When he didn't play, the offense sputtered to a halt.

I mean, our top... what? Like 4-5 TE's got hurt for extended periods or went on IR? Yeah, that's going to create problems at any position. lol

It was bad. Like, historically.

I think Burton might be a top 5 most hated Bear for me.

I honestly think his vagina sprain before the Eagles game, cost us the game. I think he could've made the difference.

Burton is better than many want to acknowledge when he was healthy. However, I think it was more not having a competent guy behind him than it was that "Burton was really good" in that Philly game (and last season). Shaheen is hopeless. I hate both of them.

Meh. Shaheen was a shitty pick, that never did anything to begin with. Burton was a difference-maker for the team, and he totally bitched out against his former team, and then continued to bitch out subsequently.

His injury was a fragile fucking mind. Fuck his pussy shit.

Have to agree here. Shaheen has simply been a bust, no two ways around that one. Cut him, cut him now. As for Burton, I was really pulling for him to be a difference maker and his first year with the Bears, at least during the regular season, he was pretty decent. But that puss-out against the Eagles in the playoffs, then all of last year. His ass couldn't get out of town fast enough.

Yeah, but Shaheen is a brittle little bitch, is never healthy, and plays soft as hell despite being a walking monster. Nagy and Gilbride last year ripped him on his work ethic.

I have nothing but contempt for him or Burton.

I may even be willing to forgive Burton more. Since sports hernias are a bitch and sometimes linger for a long time. If it was purely an "anxiety" thing vs Philly, though? Yeah, okay, he wins.

But that doesn't mean I don't also hate Shaheen.

I have nothing against Shaheen personally. It's not like he's a dick or something. He's just not that talented. Our offense needs every drop of talent it can muster from the personnel who will make up that side of the ball. I just don't see this kid as making the grade, so the sooner we dump him the more we can concentrate efforts on the other TEs in this very limited preseason.

Daniel was a better Bear. Actually did his job. Never acted like a bitch or got hurt allowing Tyler Bray to enter the fold. Daniel also plays QB. And dey makes duh monies

Burton was quite good until he got hurt before the playoffs. People forget that. He still had Mitch throwing to him so you could only expect so much.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Kmet can do. Graham is just a placeholder with enough left in the tank to give us at least something, which is much more than we had last year.

Graham has also only had one injury and has missed 7 games in his entire 10 year career. He's about as durable as it gets at a position where big names are constantly battling injuries.

Just having our top pass catching TE stay healthy is a win relative to the past few years.

I always thought it was the complete opposite. Very talented physically but a dick personality.

Shaheen comes off as lazy to me. Crazy big and athletic, but flabby. No physical transformation since being here.

Hit the gym, ya turd.

Shaheen is the only guy I can recall on this roster to be called out publicly by "Mr. Positivity" Nagy. Both Nagy and Gilbride (TE's coach) criticized him for his will to work hard and his toughness.

That really says something about you.

I'm sure he's an okay person and human being. But that's not a good teammate. So, yeah, basically fuck him on a personal level too.

He could sign-up for the special Olympics and I would never think twice about it. Big mongoloid, ugly goober of a young man.
