After how many months of this? If the threats were real, months should not have passed before it came to light IMO.
I think we have seen over the last 10 years how good the NFL is at covering up issues within the organization. So maybe he went early to his coaches they gave him the cold shoulder and all of this continued until the point where Martin did finally stand up for himself and just walked away. Why is that not considered strength in the fact that he did just walk away? Why is it that he has to punch some guy in the face to show strength? Maybe he did say no many times in all of this yet the OL made life a living hell for him when he did. It seems pretty logical with everything coming out that this seems to be the case. Martin walked away from millions of dollars so to me that is showing great strength to care more about his mental health than that of continuing in a destructive situation to continue to make millions.
