Bk, you are a fairly solid poster, but where do you work as a career?

This is a professional paid employment.

In every job, you expect respectful and reasonable behavior from co-workers.

You don't expect coworker pressure to give up large portions of your salary for forced non company events.

You don't expect other coworkers to publically view and tolerate heinous behaviors.

You don't expect management to tolerate racial taunting from coworkers.

And if you are respectful and intelligent......

You never attack coworkers with physical violence to solve workplace problems.

Management and Human Resources are there for a reason.

For many, the NFL is a career.
It is a highly skilled professional position that demands respect and teamwork.

This isn't an accounting firm, dude, it's professional football. This stuff has been going on for decades. I hope no one is ignorant enough to believe this is an isolated incident. It's just the weak ass society we are becoming. Everybody needs a trophy, everybody needs a hug.

The reason hazing happens is because players sense mental weakness and try to toughen up a player. By crying like a child and running away, Johnathon Martin has exposed himself as mentally weak and unwilling to stand up for himself. If you are going to feign a mental breakdown, you could at least confront the person or even talk to your coach. Throwing a fucking bowl of spaghetti on the ground shows a genuine lack of toughness, which is probably why Martin has been considered a bust despite his many physical gifts.

If anyone deserves to be suspended for this mess, it is Martin. Have some fucking pride and stand up for yourself.

This...so you can create even more headlines like Dez when he told Roy WilliamsWR to go fuck himself when told to carry pads. :L

Few things on this...It wasn't just RI doing the hazing so to say Martin should just go punch him in the jaw is ridiculous. We are talking about multiple players in the locker room bullying this guy. He went and told the coaching staff what was happening and they just ignored it. If a boss at a company did this there actually is the possibility of criminal charges being brought up on that employer for ignoring such a serious situation.

Now in this situation you have multiple teammates over almost a 2 year period doing this kind of crap over and over to him. The fact that he lasted this long before snapping should show the strength of his mental makeup.

Just was listening to the NFL Network and other players have said that most rookie hazing ends after maybe making them do a dance and pay for a meal. Maybe get donuts once a week for the in this situation OL kind of thing. It isn't something that continues for 2 years! Martin was in a no win situation. He punches one of his teammates he is suspended. He keeps his mouth shut he just keeps getting bullied to the point of what just happened. He told his coaching staff who you would hope would have your back and all they did was turn their back on him. Not much else he really could have done in this situation.

There is a huge difference between paying for 1 meal and a ton of meals, trips to Vegas, strip club trips and being used as an ATM by a bunch of morons who couldn't manage their money. These rookies don't make as much as they used too

SO now there are racists and threatening voice mails from RI? Well this got even more interesting..Getting picked on is one thing, but being the subject of racists attacks is another(if true).

I'm just messing with you, man. I just don't agree with your stance on this matter, but I can agree to disagree.

So your thought on this matter is that Martin should have stood up for himself as he is a big grown man? Just trying to make sure I am not misreading your thoughts on this issue. If that is the case you think he should have taken on from what I am understanding is about 4-5 other men who are just as big as him.

Sounds like bullshit. He wasn't the only player hazing this, coward. Miami is trying to put all the blame on Incognito to protect the brand. That's obviously speciation but I'm just not buying this shit. The team didn't know a thing about this, even though it's been happening for two years? Come on, man.

And yet, by all accounts, Dez has earned the respect of his teammates and is a very productive NFL player. That is more than Johnathon Martin can say.

I find it hard to believe that, NO ONE, in the locker room would come to his defense, if what you're saying is the case. It seems like a lot of truth is being withheld at the moment.

???????

You are under the ridiculous impression that they were bullying him because they didn't like him or wanted him to suffer. It seems like an unlikely reason considering he is their teammate. A much more likely reason is that they wanted him to show more gall and stand up for himself.

This is why multiple former linemen have said that he should have stood up for himself, either verbally or physically. It's also why there have been multiple fights on Hard Knocks and the teams have normally shown pride in the rookies when they do it.
