Timmo improved from last night. Pronger, I didn't notice anything awful...just obvious slower pace and rust. He hasn't really gotten beat bad except for the Marchand undressing.

I think it was more of an instigator....I didn't know ehre that came from. Maybe because Simmonds owned him in the fight they gave him the extra penalty.

That wasn't a fight....that was a normal Newark mugging. Although, Clarkson only fights when he has to. He'll do it, but he's not normally a fighter.

Simmonds won the fight but I wouldnt say owned however I still dont see how clarky got the misconduct.Dont get me wrong the extra pm's helped me in my fantasy league but i was curious because i didnt see what led up to it

Lilja had a game and a half on D for the Flyers. Simmonds kicked the crap out of Clarkson. Jagr if he holds up physically is still ridiculous. The Sykora reunion was fun for about half a minute, now it's time to get real and get him off the top line. Elias, Volchenkov, and Larsson were the only real highlights for the Devils. Kovy played awful.

Larsson looked very good, but you are right. I forgot to mention Lilja and how solid he has been through 2 games.

Kovy was not very threatening (especially his backchecking game) and Parise was invisible. Good for us but I think its just early rust for the devs. We didn't look great in our first game either.

According to Clarky he asked Simmonds if he wanted to fight Simmonds said no dropped his gloves and proceeded fighting.Clarkson doesn't know why he got the extra penalty either.
