First things first. I picked a great game to attend today. That Odubal three banger was what we needed with thousands of Met fans in the park. Wahoo! Do we suddenly have good pitching? Ian Kennedy shut'em down in the 9th!

I need to ask who the hell is Mauricio Llovera? 25 years old, 3.54 ERA in 6-year minors career. But great SO/BB ratio so I see how he was worth a try with 5-0 lead. Three bombs in a row in the 9th had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Phils are 58-53. That doesn't look right after being in the crapper for four months. But it's true and we've got 7 in a row. First place and a game and 1/2 up on the Mutts.

In this 7-0 streak, Phils have hit 13 HRs, eight different guys. Herrera 3, Harper 2, Gregorious 2, Miller 2, Segora, Realmuto, Hoskins, Torreyes, one each. Power up and down the lineup. They need to keep it up thru August and September.
